1999 Ford E-450 Super Duty with 7.3L Power Stroke V8 OHV 16V TURBO DIESEL, Ambulance body by Excellance Inc.
Vehicle was taken out of service in January 2018. Vehicle starts and runs good, transmission operates and shifts correctly with no obvious signs of problems. Light smoke has been observed upon cold start up, however clears when engine has warmed up. Very small/minor oil leak of unknown origin has also been observed since vehicle has been sitting. Tires are in fair condition, however will need to be replaced due to age. Paint is in fair condition and shows various signs of wear, chips and scratches as well as areas of "ghosting” in locations were previous graphics and lettering were installed. All other ambulance related systems, components, accessories, as well as warning, scene and chassis lighting were operational at time of decommission. Heat and A/C systems (both in front and rear) as well as the insta-chain traction system is also in working order. Any equipment shown in any of the pictures will not be included with the sale of the vehicle. Vehicle last PM Service and NC Safety inspection was in November 2017.
